Wifes first time shooting

1 Attachment(s)
Heres a pic from our trip this weekend to the gun range while we were on 'vacation'. This was my wifes target and her very first time shooting a gun, ever. In fact it was only about her third time even holding one. I wanted to start her off on a .22 but she wanted to jump right into a .45 so she shot my Bersa .45 UC.

This was at 21-22 feet.

I must say, Im very proud of her. I feel safe...and a little scared all at the same time bancha

you could be in the company of a natural talent there. I'm looking at my past efforts and I'm looking a bit inadequate atm I think. I know who I'd be putting my money on in a competition shoot off. not me!

Congratulations to both of you - you're now in an elite club, along with me with respect to my girlfriend - of men whose Significant Others picked a firearm for the first time....and put the target to sleep permanently with damn scary aim!

Heh : )

P.S. Girlfriend keeps her target on the fridge now

Years ago, bragging about teaching my wife to shoot, an old man asked me, " Son, why would you do a dern fool thing like that?"

Better keep her happy....

Its so true though........

Thanks for all the feed back guys. It made me a very proud husband. Shes shrugging it off like "all I did was shoot some paper" but I know inside shes got a big smile and that quasi evil grin that women get when they know they have something to hold over their male counterparts!

Cool. Tell your lady that was fine shootin.'
save the targets and practice headshots next time.
And buy her a pistol or two of her own....

Women have excellent hand-eye coordination and, once they get past their "learned" fear of guns, they are excellent shots.
